Submission Guidelines – Instructions to Authors
This is a European journal devoted to practice and research in psychotherapy. It publishes original research, clinical reports, and case studies as well as theoretical contributions, reviews and letters to the editor concerning previously published articles.
Manuscripts (three copies) may be submitted to one of the editors, for example to

You can send manuscripts first in your own language, if this is the language of a member of the scientific council (France, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Norway, Russia, Sweden, or a German speaking country). After the reviewer has agreed publication, translation to English language is needed by a professional translator or a native English speaking psychotherapist. Please do not translate yourself.
Submitted manuscripts are subject to two peer reviews and may be returned to authors for revision.
If accepted for publication, copyright of the article, including the right to reproduce the article in all forms and media, shall be assigned to the publisher of European Psychotherapy.
Manuscripts should be prepared with APA-Format (Publication Manual fot the American Psychological Association, 4th Edition, 1994).
Reference citations should follow APA-conventions:
Several theoretical approaches were elaborated (Beck, 1970; Abramson, Seligman et al., 1978).

Title page should include the title of the article, first and second name of the authors (no academic titles), the institution where the work was conducted, a summary in English language, up to 5 key words.
Footnotes should be avoided.
Tables should be numbered using arabic numerals. Each table must be cited in the text ( "As Table 3 shows ..."). Below the Table number please give a short description of the table:

Figures should be numbered using arabic numerals, and should be cited in the text. As we cannot draw or paint your figures once more, please send a file on a disc or by e-mail. The size of the figure should be as small as possible.
Proofs (two copies) are sent to the first author and one copy should be returned soon.
